WHO ARE WE?
With acres of majestic views, big Texas skies, and breathtaking sunsets, Valdina Ranch is a spectacular south Texas destination for your next corporate event, family reunion, wedding or getaway. The ranch was established in the 1930’s and operated as something of a small village. Many of the original features are still present and truly awesome to explore. Among these are several small barns, offices, houses, a full-size horse racing track and stables, butcher’s house and belowground speakeasy complete with an escape tunnel leading out to the Seco river.
The unique lodge re-imagined and created from the original 1940’s horse stables feature all of the modern necessities needed for your gathering including 43 rooms with sleeping for 90, a common dining area, conference room with 60″ TV for presentations or training, a 2400 sf bar area with leather couches, TVs for relaxing or watching the game and a game room with pool tables, foosball, darts, skeeball, shuffleboard and poker tables.
Attached to the stables is a covered pavilion overlooking the property. The shaded pavilion features a stocked bar, TVs, sound system for your blue tooth music, corn-hole boards, washers, horseshoes, a basketball goal and pool tables. There are fire-pits for the winter and a palm tree canopied swimming pool and Jacuzzi oasis for the summer… a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy what Texas is all about… Hospitality!
Activities on the ranch include short and long-range shooting ranges, archery range, 5-stage clay shooting range, rock climbing, trail riding, scenic trails for mountain biking and hiking, bird watching, wildlife photography
In addition to lodging and entertainment, we have full catering capabilities and are happy to work with you on custom menus for your stay. From good old home cooking to big city gourmet cuisine, we will create the perfect dining experience to fit your event here at Valdina Ranch.
